I can hardly believe it – reaching this milestone seemed like a distant dream when I was just starting and admiring shops with over 1,000 sales. Now, after 1.5 years of actively selling part-time on Etsy, I am thrilled to announce that I have surpassed 10,000 total sales.
My primary focus has always been on the customer. While it’s easy to get caught up in the competition, I strive to minimize that distraction and ensure that everything I do is in the best interest of my customers.
Of these 10,000 sales, approximately 16% are from repeat customers. There is no greater compliment than seeing customers return to my shop for more templates because they had a positive experience with their previous purchases. This achievement fills me with pride.
I also feel incredibly fortunate. While plenty of my listings don’t perform well, some have exceeded my expectations. Before opening my Etsy shop, I knew nothing about SEO or selling on Etsy, and I didn’t have a business plan. I’ve faced many unsuccessful business ventures in the past, and nothing seemed to click until Etsy. It has grown into something that I am genuinely proud of.
My goal is to continue improving and creating templates that save people time and make their lives easier. For me, this is just the beginning. I aim to learn from every customer interaction to better understand their needs.
Next up: 20,000 sales!
